Breathwork is 100% practical and zero% theoretical and so can only be understood through experience.
This introductory workshop offers an opportunity to be immersed into the direct experience of the healing powers of the breath. Come and engage in this experiment and observe as a scientist the effects of your participation.
This event that lasts 2 hours:
– half hour useful introduction of the ideal healthy breath (http://tiny.cc/v64bmx), including an opportunity to address all possible concerns.
– an hour of a full facilitated session of opening and connecting, which ends with a space for clarification and integration.
You will then be in an informed place to be able to decide for yourself if you can benefit from using the facilitated power of your own breath for self-transformation.
WHAT is INSPIRATIONAL BREATHWORK?
Inspirational Breathwork is a healing modality that uses a deep (diaphragmatic) circular breathing pattern consciously. The underlying idea is that there is a link between the way we breathe and the way we live. We have habituated a breathing pattern that is often controlled or shallow. In a session we show guide and facilitate a “natural” breathing pattern that is prior to all conditioning and holding back on life and joy. This begins to shift former blockages and areas of control and density. This shift can be felt physically but also energetically and emotionally. As a result of this, after a session people may feel more connected to their authentic selves. Bodily and emotional detoxification can also be initiated.
The process is highly facilitated in that we help guide and assist people through the discomfort and difficulties that may arise in a session. We rely on a ratio of 4 participants to one facilitator as we have found this provides adequate support to every participant on their journey of self purification and alignment. The experience of a session varies between individuals. Some experience emotional purification others more of a physical detoxification and still others could experience a spiritual realignment and change of focus of what is important in life. Facilitator: Jean-Pierre Hartmann practices breathwork and massage professionally. He is also an approachable, soulful and warm individual who has a love for life and a tangible enthusiasm for his work. He is committed to on-going learning and to constantly evolving himself through processes of self-enquiry and integrity. He has travelled extensively as part of his training to places including Turkey and the Osho Institute in Pune.
