With protest and calls for social change alive in our city and sweeping the country it is a good time to take pause and reflect on our positions in relation to others and our own values. What stories of change would we like to be part of? All the while, for many, the business of life goes on. This month we offer a gentle space for self-connection and reflection in the last Inner Child Workshop of the year. We are also having our fabulous Year End Celebration, which will be a movie evening of fun, sharing and entertainment and fund-raising….See below for more info.

Recovery Assistants Course 2016
Registration is now open for Module 1 of this part-time course, starting with an information evening on Friday 22nd January 2016 16h30-18h30. It provides an introduction to offering professional support for recovery from all types of addictive behaviours. It is taught by a staff of qualified, experienced trainers and includes the option of 50 hours of clinical observation in a registered treatment facility. For more information click here.

PROSPECT HILL YEAR-END CELEBRATION
You are all invited to join us for a screening of the film Back from the Edge recently shown at the Recovery Film Festival. The evening will include music, sharing, good company and delicious eats. The only charge is a donation for the Saartjie Baartman Centre for Women & Children survivors of abuse. It will be on Friday 20th November 17h30 – 20h00. Click here for more info or to book.
